Paymah is coming off a disappointing year with the Broncos. Tapped to replace injured starter Champ Bailey (groin) at midseason, Paymah lasted for only two games before reverting to a reserve role behind rookie Josh Bell.
Paymah is also projected as a backup and special-teams contributor in Baltimore. As first reported by FOXSports.com, the Ravens signed cornerback Dominique Foxworth in free agency to start opposite Fabian Washington.
Paymah, 26, has five career starts since being a 2005 third-round draft choice from Washington State.
The Broncos recently signed cornerback Andre' Goodman (Miami) to replace Dre' Bly, who was released before the start of the free-agent signing period. Goodman and Bailey are Denver's projected 2009 starters with Bell and Jack Williams as the top backup.
