The team plans to release the veteran cornerback after missing the playoffs for the third straight season, according to a report by FOX 31 KDVR's Josina Anderson.
Bly finished the 2008 campaign with 62 tackles, one forced fumble and two interceptions.
Defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson, acquired last offseason from the New York Jets, was also among the six players the Broncos cut Monday.
Linebackers Niko Koutouvides and Jamie Winborn, safety Marquand Manuel, defensive end John Engelberger and tight end Nate Jackson were the other five players released by the team.
