--Running back Travis Henry, who was released by Denver in June, has tested positive for marijuana, according to a report by Fox 31. If the report proves true, Henry faces a one-year suspension from the league as a repeat offender of the substance abuse policy. He had a one-year suspension overturned when he appealed a positive test last year.
--The Broncos signed three more draft picks, defensive tackle Carlton Powell and running back Ryan Torain, both fifth-rounders, and sixth-round pick linebacker Spencer Larsen. The Broncos had signed four of their nine draft picks two weeks before training camp started.
--After the NFL rejected seventh-round pick Josh Barrett's contract over some language issues, the team and the safety's representatives quickly reworked the deal and it was approved by the league.
--The Broncos claim they and the NFL were aware of receiver Brandon Marshall's early March arrest over a domestic incident, which was reported by the Denver Post. Marshall was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charge but charges haven't been formally filed.
"No charges have been filed at this point and the appropriate individuals are dealing with the situation," a statement released by the team said.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "We don't need to get ahead of ourselves because we have a lot of work to do, a lot of improvement, and we have to see when the lights are on what some of these younger guys can do for us." -- Broncos CB Champ Bailey.
